I have over twenty years of gardening experience. I hold Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) qualifications in Horticulture, Garden Design, and Plantsmanship from City College, in Brighton. I combine practical skill in garden maintenance with creative design and planting schemes.

I like to think my passion for gardening shines through in every job in the garden I do. I believe that a garden is something to be cared for, shaped, and enjoyed over time. There’s something magical in nurturing plants and watching them develop, then helping create environments that feel both natural and uplifting.

Hi! I’m John

With more than two decades of experience in gardening and outdoor work, I’ve built a strong and varied background in the field. I began my career whilst working as a woodland warden and a horticulture assistant at The Garden Festival of Wales in Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent. Whilst there, I developed a deep understanding of both natural landscapes and cultivated spaces.

I hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Rural Recreation and further enhanced my gardening skills by studying Landscaping and Garden Design at City College Brighton. This combination of academic training and practical experience has allowed me to approach each project with both creativity and technical knowledge.

Coming from a family of passionate gardeners, I developed an appreciation for plants and outdoor spaces from an early age. I believe that a garden that’s been cared for has the power to uplift an individual and bring a sense of calmness.
